Get off his back!

To all the doubters, haters and to just all the damn right know it alls- get off Punta’s back.

We can all see that Ponting is no longer the player he was. Sure, he won’t dominate bowling attacks and make them look second rate like he did for a decade. Yet, he can still be a solid contributor for the Australians.

Ponting’s fine knock of 78 showed he still has the touch. Punta isn’t batting like Matthew Hayden did in his final few tests of his career. Besides occasionally falling over the straighter deliveries, Ponting still has more runs in him. His teammates see it. The opposition see it. It’s time the Australian public see it as well.
